About me
My name is Arnaud Beyala, my nkombo (Bwiti spiritual name) is Mintombo.
I am a kombo (initiating master) of the Bwiti tradition. I am also a Beti Ngombi (harp player), and I practice several branches (Diboki, Dissoumba, Mbiri…).
I live in Yaoundé, Cameroun.

I was raised with Iboga since I was born in 1992.
My mother, grandmother, and other ancestors were raised in the Bwiti tradition, so naturally, I was also raised with Iboga within the Bwiti path.
I first received Iboga when I was just a few days old, and my first initiation took place when I was about one month old.
I therefore know Iboga and the Bwiti tradition very well.
As I grew up, my uncle taught me to play the sacred musical instrument of the Bwiti tradition, and I became a Beti Ngombi.
Today, I am a Kombo, which in Bwiti is a person who has reached all levels of initiation and is authorized to initiate others.
